Cisco CCNP
The CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) is a higher
certification in computer networking. It involves four semesters of
study leading to your final qualification. To enrol for this course,
you must hold a valid CCNA
qualification.
The CCNP certification indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of
networks. With a CCNP, a network professional can install, configure,
and troubleshoot local and wide area networks for enterprise
organizations with networks
from 100 to more than 500 nodes. The content emphasizes topics such as
security, converged networks, quality of service (QoS), virtual private
networks (VPN) and broadband technologies (read
Cisco's documentation).
When you study at Medway, all course materials are provided online
including e-labs and assessment tests (both formal and informal). Our
dedicated Cisco laboratory is fully equipped with the latest PCs with
flat screens, Cisco 1800, 2600 and 2800 series routers and
Cisco 2950 Catalyst switches for you to practice your configurations.
We also include access to our NetlabTM
server for you to work on your routing skills remotely.
We also have a wide variety of software available to you as a student
to
practice and hone your networking skills.
